We had dinner in this spot and enjoyed being advised from the owner. We ordered a typical migas dish and some tender pork neck cachaço. Everything was really tasty, good portion in a typical Alentejo familiar setting.I don't understand why other reviewers felt the need to compar this to a high standard nd restaurant, when this area serves tasty, no frills food. Thus place fulfilled our expectations at a more than affordable price

Very good local restaurant that makes you feel at home. It took some time to get around the menu but we managed it with internet so all good! And diner was delicious, along with a great wine selection. Highly recommended it for any person coming to visit Monsaraz and its surroundings. Of course it's not a fancy highly touristic place...but that's the point: you're in a local authentic village that serves authentic Alentejo and Portuguese food. All what you can expect from locals. After all, as travellers you are here to try out, taste and discover local traditions. And you are in the right place for all of this. Thank you !
